Summer Haiku Challenge

Posted by in the category on Jun. 8, 2011 at 1:06 pm

School may be out for summer but you’ve gotta keep that mind fresh & stomach full... for free!

It is haiku time … because who doesn’t love to write easy poems?! A haiku is a three-line poem in a 5-7-5 syllable pattern. The only rule: The haiku is about Texadelphia. Cheesesteaks, queso, mustard blend, the perfect lunch date… anything!

Submit your haiku on our Facebook wall. We will confirm we have gotten your entry. No more than 5 entries per person. All entries will go in an album and, at that time only, voting will begin. The image (your haiku) with the most Likes will win first place! Comments are great but Likes on your haiku will win you the prize!

So - What do you win!!?

Third place: Texadelphia Nation membership loaded with a free queso

Second place: Texadelphia Nation membership loaded with two free meals

First place: Texadelphia Nation membership loaded with four free meals

Dates:

Contest begins TODAY! Submissions welcome - post on our wall. Voting on all submitted haikus will begin Monday, July 18 and run thru Sunday, July 31. The winners will be announced Monday, August 1.
